Controller devices Empty
PostSubject: Controller devices   Controller devices EmptyWed Jun 24, 2009 7:41 am

Hi,

Just got myself a crackin wee MacBook, i'll be installing Ableton Live fairly soon and I intend to use it for music performaces in 'sample and loop' stylee, the question is what midi controller should I go for to assist me in making sets look less like some twat doing his homework on stage?

Cheers

Kenny

Depends on your budget.

Lemur or Xone3D if you're minted.

Evolution UC33 or M-Audio Trigger finger if you're not.

According to the folks I know who are in the know.

But don't trust anything I say. I'm still trying to get my head round Traktor.

cheers Murray. to be honest the dear ones don't look like what i'm after, i dont like touch screen things and the allen & heath looks a bit too much like a dj mixer for what i fancy doing. i like the big 'hit me' buttons on the m-audio and i like all the rotaries on the other one, i'll try and find a combo thats like that.

first "live" gig 25th september... i'll need to get a move on lol
